What if your books are closed?

At this time I do not have a wait list in place. I will post when my books reopen on my Instagram (@allydutil) I sometimes have reschedules or cancellations so watch my IG stories for openings.

How do I book with you?

See the Tattoo Request Form on this webpage under Contact and I will get back to you via email usually within 3-5 business days. Prepare to pay a non-refundable deposit of $100 via Venmo (@highwaterstudio) or via paypal to booking.allydutil@gmail.com once we begin the booking process. 

Can I have an in-person consultation?

I will inform you if I need you to come in for a consult (usually for cover-ups or sleeve-work only) IF YOU ARE LOCAL. 2+ hours away we can consult via email and I may request photos of the area you are looking to tattoo. You are not required to make an appointment to get the tattoo at the time of your consultation, but if you decide to do so, a $100 cash deposit is required to hold your appointment. The deposit will come off of the cost of your session.

How do i know if i need a full day or a half day?

if youre looking for sleeve work or any larger scale projects-this may be best to consider. Instead of paying for 6 hours at my hourly rate of $190 ($1140) a full day can be booked for a flat rate of $900 (minus $200 deposit)

A half day can be booked for 3hrs at $500 (minus $100 deposit)

At the moment, full days will be capped at $1000 if we need to go over the 6hr mark.

What if i just want to pay hourly?

if commiting to a 5-6 hour session feels daunting, don’t sweat! I will still be OFFERING up my predrawn DESIGNS at a discounted flat rate, and smaller custom work and designs will be priced by my hourly rate. Please note that if you book hourly instead, the session will be billed striCtly by the hour with no day rate applied.

What if i cant sit for the full day that i booked?

Day rates are a flat fee for booking out my entire schedule that day-whether we use the full time or not. I recommend day rates for big projects and clients who already know they can sit for long sessions.

How much will my tattoo cost?

My rate is $190/hr, with a minimum of $100 for a simplistic/small tattoo. After I have your design drawn up I can give you a better estimate on cost. NOTE* I do not draw up anything ahead of time. Expect to see your design the day before or morning of via email. My typical day is 1 client for 3-5 hrs.

What if i go over time for my half day session?

If your sessIon runs into a 4th hour, that extra time will be billed at my standard Hourly rate of $190/hr.

When can I see my design?

You will see your concept the day before or the morning of your appointment. If you need to make any changes we can make them easily via email. I work on an iPad and am able to make changes relatively quickly.

What if I can’t make my appointment?

I require at least a 72 hour notice for all appointment cancellations or reschedules.  Anything under 72 hours will result in a forfeiture of your deposit.*

all designs and artwork drafted for an appointment are the creative property of the artist. If an appointment is missed without the standard 72 hour notice, i reserve the right to tattoo it on someone else. i will, of course, determine this on a case by case basis.

In the event of inclement weather, myself and my clients reserve the right to re-schedule the appointment with the expectation that the deposit will be transferable to an agreed-upon later date.

*Deposits are always non-transferable between clientele. In the event you cancel within the 72 hour time frame, deposits may be carried forward to a new agreed-upon appointment time in the future, BUT MUST BE REBOOKED WITHIN 72 hours.

change of initial inquiry idea

we understand there may be months in between inital accepted inquiry and your appointment. but we hope you understand the seriousness of a tattoo at time of booking, and that you’re commited to the agreed upon design. deposits made at time Of booking are for the agreed upon design. we can accomodate for small concept changes, but a completely new concept will require an additional $100 deposit before we start redesIgning & potentially a new date. we book in your session based on design detail and size, so changes to your concept can really hinder our schedules.

i own all rights to any predrawn designs tHat i post for “AVAILABILITY”

If you cancel outside of my 72hr policy window your deposit is FORFEITED. You must put another non-refundaBle deposit down the same day at least 3 hours before your scheduled APPOINTMENT time or the predrawn goes back up for grabs.

What form of payments do you accept?

Our shop is currently CASH or venmo  (@highwaterstudio) only. Please make sure before your appointment you come prepared with the appropriate amount of cash unless directed otherwise. We do have an atm in house. All Venmo/paypal payments made outside of deposits will be subject to a 2% fee.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

2 weeks before your appointment it is ideal for you to moisturize the area daily that we plan to tattoo. I would also recommend drinking a lot of water the week leading up to your appointment. Both of these habits make it much easier for me to tattoo, which means less time in the chair for you! Get a good night’s sleep the night before your appointment. Do not consume drugs or alcohol the night before or day of your appointment, and eat within two hours of getting tattooed. Bring snacks and water if it is a tattoo that will take over an hour. Please do not shave with a razor! Trimming is ok.

Can i use numbing cream?

For the love of god please do not use any numbing agents before coming in. This can severely alter the tattooing process as well as the heAling process. We do have a few option in house. Please bring this up to your artist ahead of time if you would prefer Using something.

May I bring other people with me when I get my tattoo?

Yes you may, but I suggest to limit it to one or two other people. No small children are allowed to be with you while you get tattooed.  Older children are allowed but only with another adult. This is a firm policy. Failure to ADHERE to this policy will result in los of depoit & appoiNtment. A new deposit is required to rebook.
