ABOUT ALLY DUTIL
I’ve been pulling off big art pieces since I was 4 years old. Spreading out sheets of paper on the floor, taping them all together to work on a huge canvas. I drew on my bedroom walls, then moved to painting theatre sets at schools. Lucky for me I was surrounded by art growing up. My father is a builder and painter, his sister paints as well and owned a studio I worked at briefly in high school. My grandfather was a sign painter in Maine whom I never got to meet but can assure you his creativity is in my blood.
I have been tattooing since 2014, specializing in black & gray realism, and linework/dotwork pieces. I enjoy traveling to conventions and surrounding myself with like minded artists, so keep an eye out on my Instagram(@allydutil) for any travel dates. Im currently tattooing in hallowell, Me and booking by appointment only. In addition to tattooing, I have gone back to my roots and begun painting. I make surrealism and portrait work using oils. I wouldn’t feel fulfilled if I ignored painting large scale, so in 2018 I got myself back into mural painting. What if your books are closed?
At this time I do not have a wait list in place. I will post when my books reopen on my Instagram (@allydutil) I sometimes have reschedules or cancellations so watch my IG stories for openings.
How much will my tattoo cost?
My rate is $175/hr, with a minimum of $75 for a simplistic/small tattoo. After I have your design drawn up I can give you a better estimate on cost. NOTE* I do not draw up anything ahead of time. Expect to see your design the day before or morning of via email. My typical day is 1 client for 3-5 hrs.
How do I book with you?
See the Tattoo Request Form on this webpage under Contact and I will get back to you via email usually within 3-5 business days. Prepare to pay a nonrefundable deposit of $75 via PayPal to friends/family to booking.allydutil@gmail.com once we begin the booking process.
What form of payments do you accept?
Our shop is currently CASH only. Please make sure before your appointment you come prepared with the appropriate amount of cash unless directed otherwise.
Can I have an in person consultation?
I will inform you if I need you to come in for a consult (usually for coverups or sleeve-work only) IF YOU ARE LOCAL. 2+ hours away we can consult via email and I may request photos of the area you are looking to tattoo. You are not required to make an appointment to get the tattoo at the time of your consultation, but if you decide to do so, a $75 cash deposit is required to hold your appointment. The deposit will come off of the cost of your session.
What if I can’t make my appointment?
I require at least a 72 hour notice for all appointment cancellations or reschedules. Anything under 72 hours will result in a forfeiture of your deposit.
